Why We Exist

We exist to be a welcoming light of encouragement for those facing spiritual weariness and life hardship, reflecting the Daystar that rises in our hearts through acts of mercy, prayer, and loving community service.

Our Community Dedication

Situated in the lush, welcoming town of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii, Daystars Ministry Inc is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) Christian nonprofit ministry directed by Lionel D. Meyer. Drawing inspiration from 2 Peter 1:19 ('until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts'), our ministry serves as an enduring sanctuary of prayer and redemption. We organize early morning prayer fellowships, youth discipleship circles, and direct relief drives for families in our rural East Hawaii neighborhoods.
